National Prayer Day

Today is National Prayer Day in which hundreds of people will publicly gather and pray.  I can't think of any group of people that could use the power of prayer more than mothers.  Take a moment today and thank God for your endless patience, for your ability to love these little monsters even after all they do and won't do, for your girlfriends who are the only ones who "get it", for your husband who finds you attractive even when you don't shower, for your mom who went through all of this for you and had the decency not to tell you how hard it is until after you had your own kids, and for the glorious staff of Starbucks.
